Northeast Antique Golf Show
One of the best of the regional golf shows is undergoing a resurgence thanks to the energies of George Petro, GHS Region 1 Director, and Scott Pioli. Mark the day – Saturday, June 8, at probably the best place to hold such a show in all the country – the USGA Headquarters, 77 Liberty Corner Road, Liberty Corner, N.J. Hours are 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission is free to the general public.
The show will be in the USGA’s Administration Building, adjacent to the museum. The location is only one hour from NYC and 30 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport.
All GHS members are welcome to bring a few individual collectibles to sell or trade. For those who want to be a table vendor, your show hosts will have tables available in a limited number and there are some size differences. They’re all available on a first-come, first-served basis, so get your request in quickly. If demand is great, later subscribers may be limited to one per person. Messrs. Petro and Pioli have got the cost per-table down to $30 each. You must bring your own table cloths! Vendor set up begins at 8 a.m. DOORS WILL OPEN NO SOONER.

As part of an effort to make the show fun for all, free door prizes will be offered. These will be vouchers for purchases from table vendors during the show, with anyone attending eligible.
The Region 1 show is always an exciting show based as it is both at the USGA and centered in a region rich in golf history and antiques. Exhibitors here always bring fantastic golf items. The USGA Museum is an unbelievable plus for attendees, as there is the Bobby Jones Room, Ben Hogan Room, and the new Arnold Palmer Room. Here you can see Bobby Jones’ gold medals from his historical Grand Slam and much more. The USGA Museum is offering free admission to GCS members (one each) the day of the show. It is worth the trip to visit the USGA Museum, not to mention the opportunity to find that next great item for your collection.
