Renee Powell, the second Black woman to play on the LPGA Tour and longtime ambassador for the game around the world, has been chosen as the 2020 recipient of the ASGCA Donald Ross Award. Presented annually since 1976, the award is given to a person of distinction who has made a significant contribution to the game of golf and the profession of golf course architecture. Powell, a GHS member, will receive the award in October 2020 as part of the 2020 ASGCA Annual Meeting in Cleveland, Ohio.
