The Golf Heritage Society is pleased to announce that its 55th National Convention is scheduled for Sept. 15-17 at the Tioga Downs Resort and Casino, close to historic Corning, in Binghamton, N.Y. A special golf outing is planned for Monday, Sept. 14 at the Arthur Tillinghast-designed Binghamton Country Club.

The GHS National Convention offers members an opportunity to play golf, to participate in educational sessions, and to hold a trade show featuring some of the game’s most fascinating artifacts and memorabilia. Membership includes golf writers and historians, collectors, architects and course superintendents, artists, amateur players, as well as PGA and LPGA members. We welcome everyone who enjoys the game and appreciates its history.

Our host site is a short drive from Cooperstown and New York’s Finger Lakes region with all the local wineries. It should be a festive time of year with fall foliage in abundance. The trade show is open to the public. Educational sessions will feature prominent speakers addressing all aspects of our game. The GHS golf championship is scheduled for the EnJoie Golf Club, the site of the current Dick’s Open and former B.C. Open, a fixture on the tour for many years.
